Spontaneous resolution of traumatic epidural hematomas

Abstract
|
|
|
We report the eight cases of spontaneous resolution of a traumatic epidural hematoma.
The patients were treated without surgery because of only the mild symptoms and relatively small hematomas without the midline shift and ventricular deformity on CT scan. In all cases, the complete resorption of the hematoma was documented on CT scan within 56days at least.
